I've no issues with this, although he is getting on a bit, his goal scoring second half of last season was outstanding.

He's also responsible defensively.

The question for me is where does this fit with the rumours?

Janatuinen
Leavens
Miceli

Is one of the above incorrect or is Vally an extra?

Regards

Pretty sure Fox confirmed we would start with a spare import, so expect all 3 still happening.

No import limit in CHL so all can play those games. I expect that will be used as one of the tests for who ends up as the spare initially

I think Vally will be considered the 12th/spare import competing for starting time with miceli.
But as always form and injuries may make it all a non issue.
The returning/retained Corp is phenomenal, I dont think I would change any of them for others who haven't returned.
Hopefully the new imports will freshen up and improve the team further.

I reckon he's straight back in where he left off, alongside Balmas and Dowd. Best line in the league for the majority of the season.

Game On

Repeating myself with all these returnees but excellent, excellent news, will be a strange season where we will have more returnees than new players. Really looking forward to the season starting. Usually takes me a good few weeks to get to know who is who with new players but not this time, straight into it

As already said, an amazing number of returnees. Is this the most we've ever had return?

Don't for get to add 44 Sam Jones ✕ to your list @Jayboy

It is on the side bar.

It's certainly much better than the last grandslam when the only returnees were Sebastien, Allison, Brebant and Bobyck.

Yeah, unfortunately the off ice shenanigan's spoilt that. Didn't Blaiser put a team together in about 2 weeks!

Not even Belfast managed to get the same amount of returnees as we have from their grandslam.

Looking forward to seeing how we match up especially with a sprinkling of new signings.

Angelo Miceli becomes our first new import forward.

His numbers are fairly consistent over the years in the EBEL, although they're quite low in comparison with others.

My experience is that players from EBEL generally score a little bit better in our league.

I've pencilled him in for 15 goals, but if the rumours are all correct I would expect him to be battling it out with Janatuinen for a spot on our 3rd/4th line.

I think this is one of those where you have to trust Fox's judgement over the numbers.
