Didn’t see the new guy in the 2nd period? Hope he’s not taken a knock already.
Think he was on ice for his planned shifts from what I can recall.

You simply can't miss 2 on 1 breakaways in these type of games.

Punished 30 seconds later

Our PP has been awful tonight 0/5

Awful officiating at the end, how was that not a cross check on Connolly then?

A good game ruined at the end by awful officiating.

Abysmal non call gives Guildford the extra point but we shouldn't have been in overtime anyway, you cannot miss chances like they had in the third and expect to win games.

Adey reckoned Connolly “lost his balance”. It was penalty for me especially considering how the refs had called the game overall.

Oh, and the mic’d up ref said Connolly dived when asked by Jono.

Guildford shouldn’t have been in the game. A 2 on O miss and five PP’s one 4 min one with no result. No where near good enough from us.

Are we a championship winning team? Not for me.

Thought Connolly went down a bit to easy.
Probably still a missed call but that's not what cost us the game.
Shouldn't have been anywhere near O/T in that game.
Only got ourselves to blame.

But hey, we go again!

Lack of bottle and battle as game wore on was the overall problem.
The call or non call? Not for me.

Look more at missed chances galore including not converting at 2 on 0.
Woeful pp.
Pitule dreadful d zone face off flop loss that led directly to their third goal.
Petgrave giving pp opportunities from petulance and poor turnovers.
A few players not pulling up trees.
Coach putting on conns with no skating speed and legs with poor self control on 3 on 3.

More our failures than the refs for me by a long shot.

I'm not just blaming the officials for a poor call at the end, like others have said, we shouldn't have been in that position in the first place, you can't be throwing away 3-1 leads, you can't be missing 2 on tender breakaways, Greenfield stood on his head for us tonight, he was superb.

Fox was moaning about uncalled crosschecking in the post-game. Does anyone know what all that was about. I wasn't there, I was in bed lol!
