GAME THREAD: Sheffield Steelers v Guildford Flames, Thursday 6th October 7:30pm

7.40pm still not started. Thought it was 7.30pm face off.

Don’t see Premier League kickoff on a Saturday at 3.10 pm.

Either start the intro earlier or cut it down.

Entertaining 1st period really enjoyed the pace. About fair at 1-1. Both goalies made good saves.

Very entertaining fast game, both teams very fast.

Watching on PS as now live in Wales, so this is the first time I've watched them this season.

Connolly looks totally devoid of any confidence at the moment, if anybody needs a goal to help, its Connolly.

Only criticism is the Guildford goal, our D was all over the place but what a shot, Greenfield no chance.

I thought our pace was great first 6-7 minutes then dropped off a bit. Flames seem able to get plenty of rubber on Greenfield far too easily and he's had to make a lot of decent saves. Need to get the tempo high again.

I know a lot are critical of Ciampini with his lack of goals but his forechecking, effort and play making are second to none. If Neumann could bury some of the many chances hes had recently we'd be much better off in the goals column.

We do it game in game out. I dont know why they can't start the intro earlier to get game started on time!!

Stupid penalty to give away that was by Petgrave just as we had gone 3-1 up, punished by O'Conner on the PP

Another enjoyable period of hockey, just a shame we're making it hard work for ourselves by giving away silly penalties.

Not 100% sure on Jones one though tbf, looked like Greenfield nudged the puck away with the flames guy taking a tumble over his stick....

Hopefully we can kill this penalty off & push on for those 2 points.

Ciampini and Allen are such a great combination, love to watch those guys hunt the puck and play physical together. Proper old school pro's. Will be deadly when they get a winger with them on their level. Neumanns game just isn't there yet. Maybe when settled will see Kristo get a shot there.
