Pre-season can reveal problems for the coach to fix which is one of the reasons we have one, there were some trends visible that were similar to the ones we saw last season which were never fully resolved and displayed themselves when the pressure was on. I hope Fox can sort it out, but I stick with my initial comments, we will have to play better than that to win.

To win we will have to play better than we have in pre-season.
Tbf pre season is no marker of how the opening games should be predicted.
They are merely a fitness and game time exercise.

In my opinion of course.
I'm afraid I agree with mark here, preseason gets the team into habits that will continue through the season. If they play rubbish it will carry on and will rarely be relinquished. Not saying they are bad but the defence just isn't defensive enough. Hopefully they can fix that.

Afternote: My brother saw Fox at subway earlier lol :D
A win it is then!

A freak injury Fox said in a recent interview sustained in training.

Awaiting assessment etc.

It remains puzzling why Steeler start every home game so lethargically.

Petgrave is good, but cost us the goal and nearly assisted on another with a poor cross ice pass in the neutral zone. More Ben O'connor than Ben himself was.

After that that first five minutes we've done ok. Plenty of rubber on Bowns but no real quality.

There are goals in it for us especially when Batch and Louis on the ice.

I really like the Ciampini Allen Mosey line but need more from latal Raska and Neumann.

Grew into the period. Poor first 5 mins.

Poor penalty at the end.
