Glasgow have added former Coventry & Dundee defenceman Shawn Boutin.

The 32 year old iced in the EIHL for three seasons (16/17, 18/19 & 19/20). He played 175 games in that period.

He’s previously iced in the ECHL 310 times for the Arizona Sundogs, Stockton Thunder & Idaho Steelheads & Rapid City Rush.

He’s also played in the German DEL2 with Dresdner Eislöwen.

In the Swedish HockeyEttan with Borås HC.

And most recently in the French Ligue Magnus with Scorpions de Mulhouse.

Glasgow have re-signed guaranteed goals at this level, former Steelers forward Mathieu Roy.

The now 35 year old scored 38 times for Glasgow last year in 62 appearances.

Overall in his EIHL career he’s scored 383 points in just 357 appearances for us and Glasgow.

He’s won 2 league titles and a playoff title, as well as being named in the EIHL First & Second All-Star sides twice each.

In the ECHL where he was also part of the First All-Star side, he played 490 times for the Pensacola Ice Pilots & Florida Everblades.

Glasgow have re-signed 5”11” American defenceman Mitchell Jones.

The 27 year old scored the most goals of any EIHL defenceman last season, netting 16 times on his way to 42 points.

He’s previously iced 190 times in the ECHL for the Alaska Aces, Utah Grizzlies, Cincinnati Cyclones & Jacksonville IceMen.

He’s also played in the Hungarian/Romanian Erste Liga for Romanian side Gyergyói HK.

Guildford have retained 5”10 Canadian forward Turner Ripplinger.

The 24 year old winger joined mid-season and played his first pro hockey, 16 EIHL games scoring 13 points.

He joined after time in the Canadian University USports League with the University of Regina Cougars.

Guildford have re-signed 5”9” Canadian forward Tristan Frei.

The 26 year old iced 34 times after an injury hit campaign scoring 16 points.

His season in Guildford was his first pro experience.

Belfast have re-signed double-winning 6”4” 209lb Canadian defenceman Sam Ruopp.

He was a 5th round pick of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2015 draft.

Last season he played 70 times for the club.

His previous pro experience consists of 28 ECHL appearances for the Allen Americans.

Dundee have signed 5”11 American forward Elijiah Barriga.

The 26 year old has never iced pro before, and joins after 4 NCAA seasons with the American International College Yellow Jackets.

Nottingham have signed 5”11 Canadian netminder Alex Dubeau.

The 27 year old iced 9 times last year split between the DEL & ECHL.

He’s played 3 times in the AHL for the Belleville Senators.

73 ECHL games for the Fort Wayne Komets, Brampton Beast, South Carolina Stingrays & Orlando Solar Bears.

Also 8 appearances in the German DEL for the Nürnberg Ice Tigers.

Dundee forward Alexandre Ranger has left the club to join German 3rd tier side EHC Erfurt.

The 26 year old scored 18 points in 45 EIHL appearances.

He’ll link up with former Sheffield Steeldogs & EPIHL Player of the Year Arnoldas Bosas.
