I’ve got a gut feeling we won’t be seeing Vally back in orange. I hope I am so wrong and that I’m left eating my words.
I agree, personally think he's signed elsewhere for next season.

He will be a huge miss if he has & Fox will need to up his game to find a like for like replacement.

I'm hoping he's looking to bring the average age of the squad down.

Vallerand confirmed as leaving.

Joins a club in Europe for the 2022/23 season.

Best of luck to the bloke.

Big loss, but we also need players committed to the club on the 22/22 roster.

Should be a decent wage packet to play with to being in a replacement also.

Huge loss for us with Vally leaving, our best player and most reliable goal scorer. Some huge skates to fill in terms of character, skill and production.

Looks like we're certainly going to see a fresh roster for the upcoming season, hopefully Wednesday's signing is a statement one!

I am hoping it’s a belter like Latal etc, not a “we’ve lost Vally but are keeping Barry” moment. No offence to Barry.

Certainly a big loss for us and would have thought he would have been on pretty much everyone's returnees list. Glad he's not gone to another EIHL club though.

Can't fault him wanting to have one last go in Europe.

I think he was one of the players that made others accountable, so will certainly be a big loss. I wish him all the best, but aren't fussed about seeing him return after his spell in Europe as I think he will be too old.

We've not won a league championship since 2016, which is far too long in my eyes. Fox has his work cut out to find a suitable replacement, no excuses for Fox for me this season his settling in period is over and we need to see some success, not finishing 2nd, losing a home CC semi-final 5-0 & poor playoff loss to a 7th placed team.

I really hope valuable lessons have been learned from last season.

Carter Beston-Will has confirmed free-agent Charlie Combs would be of interest if the price was right and he wanted to be here.

Although I’d imagine that’s the same for every EIHL club.

He had a very good season. I'd happily take him if available and we should have the budget available now Valley has gone. As has already been mentioned on here recently, that type of recruitment worked well in Blazers days.

Mosey rumoured to be returning - this is a must for me especially seeing some big names departing

I think we will see Latal and Mosey back - I think these will be the first 2 announced, then we will see new players drip fed through the summer.

I do think though we need to make a big move for a GB player this year or next. Both Davey Phillips and Jono could retire/step down leagues any minute, Dowd is is nearing mid 30's, we lost BOC last season.

Ideally, we could do with signing B. Whis full time and bringing in an established brit such as Ferrara. But I know this is probably slim to none.
