It’s that time of year again and the first rumour has arrived.

Adrian Saxrud-Danielsen has offers from Norwegian Eliteserien sides Stjernen Hockey & Storhamar IL (his hometown team).

However he is also believed to be highly thought of by the Steelers and will face a choice of whether to return to Norway which he misses or extend in Sheffield where he enjoys the fan culture and local celebrity status.

I would have thought it would be a little too early yet for too many signing announcements?

I guess all the exit interviews will have been completed by now though.

I think the best we can hope for over the next few weeks will be re-signings like Sam Jones etc.

I wouldn't expect to see any new signings for another month or so.

Just my take of course.

Really? Wow we missed a trick there if so. A great player. Would be happy to see him in Orange next season.

I believe Sam Herr has signed an extension in Ravensburg, however Pete Russell has moved on since then so maybe they will re-evaluate their existing deals?

Early signings at this time of year are often re-signing of Brits. My guess is Jono. Can't see him going anywhere else and still has the legs we need.
