We haven't got a 2 week break - we've got the final in cardiff next weekend!! Or are we not counting that?

Tough weekend. the break's coming at the right time, maybe a week late but it is what it is. Nothing's really changed we still need to beat Cardiff in the remaining 2 games. Hopefully after the break Fox will have a choice to make and will be able to rotate players who are carrying a knock or are ill.

Tough result...
I know we should have never gone 3 down in the second period but I'm proud of the team getting back into it. No matter where we finish in the league, I'll still be happy with the way Fox has turned the team around... The team isn't the finished article but the steelers are back and the EIHL knows it.

That was the fifth game in succession Dean Smith has been one of the referees, they must be fed up off seeing him. :o

Decent effort I’m sure.

Would have been nice to match Cardiff over the weekend, but perhaps illness and injuries have finally caught up.

The break has come at just the right time.

That's the game, awful weekend where we gain 0 points, concede 11 goals and lose groundon Nottingham, Cardiff & Belfast.

Need a 10X improvement after the rest we now have.

It's out of our hands again but still LOTS of hockey to be played, lots of twists and turns yet, Panthers & Belfast are still well in the hunt.
It's not out of our hands. Win out and we win the league even with their 4 games in hand.

Cardiff end the season with 8 games in 15 days including 5 games in 8 days ending with a trip to Sheffield. Belfast and Notts have 2 games in Belfast together so it's far from over.

Tough weekend and a good effort to almost get a point from that game. There’s still a long way to go and with some rest I’d back these guys to sort themselves out.

O’Connor getting a game penalty surely didn’t help our D. Don’t know if it was really justified? Unfortunately it’s always the retaliation that’s penalised but it must’ve been a bad cross check to get 5 + game.
