Another shutout shows where a lot of our recent issues have been but overall the lack of steeler grit, heart, leadership is the main issue. Very disappointing and tomorrow will be tough

Very disappointing, where was the plan B? Need to step it up tomorrow. Need to play as a team.

This may just be a little controversial, but would it be so bad if the big four were all eliminated tomorrow? Cardiff, Belfast and us have been too dominant over recent years and so if one of the less fancied clubs were to take a trophy, be good for the sport.

Didn’t enter the poll cos I can’t call this one. I knew Dundee would give us trouble. We’re only behind by 1 but it will be tough to turn around unless we can create some better chances.

Both teams worked hard but created little hence the tight score line, although I think Barry was on good form.

Still can’t call it, just got to hope we catch a break or two in Scotland.

Agree it wouldn’t hurt to see the trophy go to a less obvious team.

Belfast will easily beat Coventry in Belfast. They will win the grand slam.

Very disappointing performance, Dundee skated well and shut us down.

I do worry that Fox has a single game plan and more concerning limited contacts for the future.

This is not over yet, but we're certainly no longer the favourites.

A solid game from Barry, but we need the forwards to work out how you score against an average netminder.

At least it might save me £115

The good bits:-
As a hockey game I enjoyed it but not the result.
Hopefully has shown Fox who should not be back next year (loads of them IMO)
The bad bits:-
Woeful officiating going back to the days of Hicks.
Lets not kid ourselves we were playing the team that finished 7th and were outplayed. Embarassing.
Why don't we stand up for each other. There was an incident in the third when Eberele had 3 players round his neck and none of ours went in to help. Weak and cowardly IMO.
Davey MOM- WTF- Brust without a doubt.
Simmsy boasting that it was a great decision to play home game first as Dundee would have to travel twice in 24 hours. Doh they travelled down Friday. Insulting to the fans (again IMO), was it more about trying to get a good crowd in on Saturday night?

I do think the performance tonight highlights the concern of a 3 year contract to the current coaching team.

I've not seen anything worthy of such an offer so far, hopefully they will turn it around or Tony Smith is looking like a soft touch again.

Disappointing last home game of the season.
I have, the now annual, do I really want another season ticket next year.
Just once I’d like to end the season on a high.
Valley was waving goodbye as he skated round.

Once again the pre match poll shows we have as much a clue about hockey as the team does. I can confidently report that Dundee never sussed out our plan , mainly because we didn't have one.
Both teams who gave up home-last advantage are now in big trouble. The fact that you know what you have to do to win that second leg at home added to the fact that you would get overtime on your own ice means I personally would not give that away. However I suspect a Saturday crowd brings in more cash than a Sunday one so that is why it happened.
We have lost the last five games and this team is a very different one to the team we had before Christmas, injuries have undoubtably scarred us.
Credit to Dundee , speedy forwards, good defence and an excellent crowd following them. A lovely rendition of Flower of Scotland near the end. Safe journey home , shame a few of our supporters don't have the class to applaud rather than boo them off the ice.
Having said all that , it would be just like this team to go and win 5-1 tomorrow! Good luck with your poll forecasts. No idea what I would go for. A one goal lead is a very fragile one , although Aaron Murphy says a two goal lead is the worst you can have. Good job from their point of view that they didn't score another then !
