We'll miss his faceoffs, but I'm not sure about much else.

My mate did some stats last week that we were looking at pre game and based on those Oleksuk would have been my first for an aisle seat.

He was comfortably worst on +/- stats and his points output was very poor.

The one positive was his faceoffs, he was outstanding at those.

I'm not convinced the new guy will be an upgrade, but we shall see.

Thats an interesting take because my first for an aisle seat would be Deluca, who frankly has contributed nothing. Well nothing good anyway.
I think because he is known to be streaky he has got away with criticism for now.

To me it's an odd swap as not like for like at all. Presumably Fox happy with other centre options and feels need more scoring threat from wingers.
I thought Oleksuk was exceptional in his last game away to Dundee. Maybe he knew he was off to pastures previously trodden so relaxed and put in a proper performance.

According to Czech sports tabloid ISport, in which the player confirmed it in interview, the Steelers have agreed a deal with 33 year old Czech winger Martin Látal.

Hard to get excited about a winger who scored 5 points in 41 games , no matter what the league.

Two of the signings I was least excited by were Latal and Mosey, now they're near the top of my list for next season (Vallerand would be top).
