Best 1st period we’ve had at home for weeks

Brilliant period. Nice to see a bit of rough stuff Hodgman with a cheeky helmet removal on Nottingham’s bench. Brilliant.

Solid 1st. 3-0 up and deservedly so. But we’ve been 3-0 down v Nottingham at this stage under Fox and won 8-3 so nothing is won yet and need a good 40.

Good on Vallerand to step up on a big hit, was clean but still got to stick up there.

Just need to be careful not to get drawn in to the antics as Nottingham were beginning to implode. Done a good job of agitating Tousignant, he’s well off his game and fuming.

Proper Boxing Day v Nottingham feel to it.
