The only thing I've noticed is that DeLuca has been expunged from the match night opening video. That seems a little harsh to me. He's part of our history and his contribution should be acknowledged. The club have been very poor with their communication with the paying fans. The podcast by Simms doesn't help the situation, and cannot be seen as "official"

Guys I dont want or need it chapter and verse, like you guys said I dont need the finer details but I am sorry the other side of that coin isn't satisfactory either.
No details, all that does is create speculation among the fan base. I think a club as professional as ours in many many other areas would issue a press release stating when DeLuca had left the club where he went and a clarification as to why!

You say they may be embarrassed, but just as embarrassing is having one of your high profile players disappear off in a puff of smoke without any explanation at all.. If he was found guilty of something or it was a genuine mistake, but that the club felt wasn't reconcilable.

So a player, who regardless of the circumstances, has let the club down by failing a drug test incurring the costs of bringing in a replacement gets a brilliant send off thanking him for all he has done previously and wishing him the best.

A volunteer who has been involved for longer than this player and has donated hundreds of hours of service makes a mildly critical ( but accurate ) comment on social media and they are terminated by text message immediately.

Nice to see we've got our priorities right. If anyone has a spare bit of moral leadership they would like to donate just leave it by entrance B, although you might need to put a big label on it just so they realise what it is.

I agree with most of that Mark, but have no idea about this volunteer. Would you care to enlighten we ignoramuses?

Not my story to tell Ron , I'm perfectly happy with it's accuracy but if the individual concerned wants to post the details they are free to speak for themselves on here. I am not comfortable dragging them into the spotlight when they may not want that.

I've spoke to Rob on many occasions and recently about this very subject, he is happy, maybe even keen for the actual truth about the way he was asked to leave the club as a volunteer to be known, like Mark says it's not our place to tell it, but maybe @Robert Mansell will feel like he can, and as far as I am concerned he can do so if he wishes..

I agree, the club is losing it's mojo and friendliness whilst pretending/dishing out the "family" nonsense. I wonder who is steering the ship these days because its way off course.
The hard sell/commercial aspect is overriding every thing at all costs-maybe benefits them short term but I see problems ahead as more and more people see the club as losing touch with its supporters and forgetting what made the Steelers great.
