Easy win for Cardiff, we looked like an NIHL side tonight. They never reached 2nd gear really.

For me, only Evan Mosey can say he did all he can tonight. An unforgivable lack of desire and effort.

Full credit to Cardiff, they were unlucky not to have had a bigger win.

Got exactly what we deserved from that game. Never really looked like scoring or getting back in the game.

The worst home performance I’ve seen under Fox. Did we use all our energy up in the dead rubber game last night?

Thought Paul Thompson was back for a moment as that’s how poor the hockey was.

Why change Barry? Injury? Didn’t look like it to me.

Over 7,500 in as well. Poor display Steelers. A complete waste of money on the stream today.

Wonder if we’ll have a podcast to listen too tonight?

We were poor last night too really, the difference was we were playing the Cardiff Devils tonight & not the Nottingham Panthers.

I thought Fox was too laid back and accepting of the game result and performance in the post game interview.

Oh well. Glad to see he was ok about that humiliation and humiliating performance.

Some very poor passing put us deep in trouble against a side looking to make up for their previous loss to us.

I thought we might get back into it if we scored early in the 2nd but when their 4th went in and Ellerby laid that reckless check to the head it was game over.

Next weekend will be a waste of time, money and effort if they don’t use it to get themselves together and sorted.

As Doom says early days and a long way to go

The goal tending situation is a joke to be honest sorry I’m going to be harsh but we have a goalie that’s come in unfit and past his best, another thats a good backup at best but not league winning. Surely the money we’re paying them both would equate to a decent goalie? Brust is tied into a uni deal, I’d wager in hindsight Aaron would of gone a different Approach.

We were shocking tonight, I’ve not seen a performance that bad since thommo was at the helm, let’s hope this is the exception not the rule!

We are basically feeling how Belfast were after we spanked them. They aren’t a poor side just a dreadful performance from them. They’ve bounced back and strung a few together again.

Having listening to the pod cast he did seem to come across as not overally bothered about the result.

Whilst over a long season there will inevitably be nights like that, it would have been nice if he could have aplogised a little to the 7,500+ that turned up for the poor performance.

Game was over when the 3rd goal went in which I don't think you can fault the performance of Rok the defence just kept turning over the puck.

From that point we were chasing the game without the tools to try anything different, our forwards as like the previous season under Fox are all a bit similar and we can't go to for example a big line. It's all too cute for me in these situations but I cannot see it changing. We need a player or 2 similar to Broll in size to just be able to have a physical presence.

I can't for the life of me work out why especially when we are 3 down we are still rolling 7 D. We all know what a threat Mosey can be so why on earth are we playing him back there when if its because he doesn't trust Jones (Summising) then to my untrained eyes does he look like the guy on D who actually seems to have some passion and can play when given the chance. Would sooner see Shudra as the 7th D Man if that's what we are doing

The keeper situation I don't think is helping either we have our #1 Brust who is struggling to get to form and fitness as we approach December and we have Rok who is currently at .936 and yet people are saying he isn't a championship winning goalkeeper. Yes we would probably have been dissapointed if he had been brought in as that but this is adding to the conundrum as when everyone's fit who do we bench ?

The brits again are being underused and unavailable due to prior agreements, didn't even realise Graham was on the bench till he sat in the box for Ellerby.

At 5-0 down I don't think he was given any ice time.

No one ever seems to get recruitment right from day one, do we need some changes, probably ?

That result has been coming as we have been winning ugly (I missed the last 2 games) and it to me hasn't been good hockey.
