As Doom said, excellent game management. Couldn't see any weak links in our team. They played for each other. I love what Hodgman brings - he's a leader, sets an example and is always talking to, and encouraging his teammates. I don't like how, in the past, the MoM has been awarded to the whole team, but I would have made an exception last night.

That's what I call an Ice hockey game Steelers gave 100% from start to finish
I completely agree. The whole team deserved the MoM. Not often you can say that. A complete performance by the Steelers.Ron 25 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 07, 2021 10:11 amAs Doom said, excellent game management. Couldn't see any weak links in our team. They played for each other. Basically this.
Said the very same thing to the guy sat next to me.
Heard someone say, "Typical Steelers power play."
At 5-1 up it was a perfect opportunity to run 2 mins off the clock and get some air in the lungs.
I do wonder what people are watching sometimes.

Never saw that coming in a month of Sunday's I tell you.
As I live in Giants land these days, I can testify that this loss hurt them. Wouldn't have liked to be in Keefe's locker room at the end of that first period.
It's a statement of intent, probably the best result of the season so far for us. More please....

Hockey fan since 1980, Steeler since day one.

Live in NI these days but write Steelers and general hockey articles for chasingthepuck.com.
Forget about style, worry about results - Bobby Orr

Most fun I have had at a home game for a very, very long time. Atmosphere good and intensity from the players on the ice was brilliant. Everyone played their part and not one player had an off night. Was very surprised given our injuries. A huge 2 points.
