That was a top performance in every way. I felt we controlled the game from beginning to end and after the first were able to take the sting out of Belfast.

In my opinion this was the best defensive display in the Fox era. More of this please.

Thought Shulze, Jones & Ellerby were excellent tonight.

A fantastic win, we made Belfast who I still think are a good side look very ordinary.

Stand out performances from Davey Phillips, Ellerby, Mosey and young Sam Jones.

Barry’s starting to, prove the early doubters (including myself) wrong.

Well done lads.

Comfortably the best performance of the season, the game management was superb.

Belfast played a high press trying to keep the puck in our zone, but we were superb exploiting the space left behind and scored on virtually every attack in the 1st.

I actually thought we probably created more gilt edged chances in the 2nd, but it just wouldn't go in.

I couldn't believe there were complaints behind me about our powerplay, we were 5 -1 up, we didn't need to push on the powerplay.

MOM for me was Mosey. I remember when he signed I was underwhelmed. 25 years of watching the Steelers and it's clear I still don't have a clue about ice hockey.

The lines will be interesting when the injured players return. I think I'd stick with lines 1 and 2 and throw Latal, Connolly and Armstrong on 3 and 4.

I hope there's enough left in the tank for tomorrow.

Regards
