Fox has already said that Rok gets the nod tonight.
We need to be far more switched on tonight, especially in our own defensive zone.
What Guildford did very well was pressurise the puck as a team. I think some of our players were expecting more time than they had and kept getting caught in possession.
Tonight they should know what's coming and hopefully will be able to deal with it.
More of the same with faceoffs and penalty killing, but much better 5 on 5 please.
Regards
Doom

Rok tonight and I wouldn't be surprised if he started next weekends home game also.
Having said that maybe the CC game being the less important of the two give BB the nod and let Rok in-between the pipes against the Stars.

Fox will have been working long into the night to see where we went wrong, it was our first look at Guildford so he’ll have learned a lot about how they play and how to counter that tonight.
Although I did have a dream overnight about us losing 6-1 lol.

I’d have made Brust go again with a strong message to improve.
I’d be surprised if he’s not already packing his bags.

A tad hasty for me, I'd give him until the end of October, unless he has an absolute stink out, but Fox can't really expect a title winning goal tender to turn up instantly when he's not played for 18 months.
For that reason I'd expect him to be given time.

There was always going to be an early sharpness issue for Brust after not playing since February 2020, but on the other hand we can’t wait forever for full match sharpness.
There has been a slight overreaction, especially on twitter of sacking etc. We’ve lost one game to a quality EIHL level side. We were 4 on the spin before this.
EDIT: Brust has been left out completely tonight.

It's OK saying you can't expect a 38 Yr old who hadn't played for 18 months to hit the ground then why take the risk of signing him then?
Is this, recruiting the netminder, a Fox recruitment problem??. Remember Kantor was signed as our previous starter and look how that turned out.
