Fox tonight confirmed Stojanovič got the nod due to his strong showing v Manchester.

Looked surprised when asked about Brust’s fitness and just said he’s always played around that similar weight. Main concern is getting him game sharp as hasn’t played since Feb 2020.

Sounds like we’re likely to see him v Manchester on Saturday.

We saw him walk through the arena doors as we were coming in on Saturday, he looks a tall solid guy to me. I think a lot has been said about his weight due to the photos from shirt launch.... lets not forget that the goalie shirts aren't very flattering in pictures anyway!

I'll leave my judgements until I've seen him play.

I wouldn't have thought there would be any info from the club on any issues surrounding him. Meanwhile all we have is rumour and speculation. Is Barry Lord Lucan in disguise?

I'll go with that explanation , that is a looong time without playing hockey so maybe another week of intensive practice is a good idea and help us see the best of the new netminder.

Barry looks to me like he’s put a couple more stone on since playing in Slovakia, he’s always been a large tender looking back at footage over the years but to me he’s at his heaviest and IMO raises the question is his heart in it? To come in out of condition when committed to a contract here is very unprofessional. I hope I’m wrong, but could be a short stint in Sheffield.
