Decent first performance actually. Not seen Louis bullied by a player like he is being bullied by Eberle tonight, had him crying to the ref.
Had enough chances to score 2-3 but finishing had been poor, Carruth not really been tested despite chances created.
Cardiff PP looks very slick as you’d expect, so need take no penalties or we’ll be in trouble, that’s the only time they’ve had us scrambling really.

Looks like we don’t welcome back old players anymore. Lots of boos for him.TealSteeler wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:16 pmWonder what kind of reception that certain Devils #12 got from the home support.
Any sickly introduction about a "welcome back to a former family member..."?

Thought we had a good start. Mosey unlucky to give that pen away. They took advantage of a slow change and sent a hard shot past Rok.

Apart from the penalties I thought we were the better team in the 1st. Poor finishing costing us so far

I cant believe we lost that period 0-1. A few decent half chances but none taken. Hopefully Carruth won't be another of those netties who shoves his net of its mooring when whenever danger around.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Sun Sep 26, 2021 4:41 pmDecent first performance actually. I think as always we have to be careful with taking pens with Laurel and Hardy reffing. There's been 2-3 decent shouts thats could have gone against the Devils and none called. We know it won't be same the other way.
I thought overall was a decent period of hockey. ELLERBY limped down the tunnel after blocking a shot on the penalty kill, hope nothing too serious.

A very impressive first ten minutes then I thought Cardiff were the better team for the rest of the period.

I was in 2 minds whether to subscribe to premier sports, kinda regretting it right now. Production quality is poor, not a patch on our webcast.
Although it's better than the embarrassing garbage that I paid £15 for last night.
