Storm also re-sign 27 year old English defenceman Zach Sullivan.

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/1 ... h-sullivan

The undersized 5”9” D man has played 388 EIHL games for the Braehead/Glasgow Clan & Manchester.

The former GB international also has plenty of EPIHL/NIHL level hockey on his CV with Swindon, Invicta, Slough, Basingstoke & Raiders IHC.

Nottingham have re-signed Morgan Clarke-Pizzo, some of Panthers legend David Clarke.

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/2 ... arke-pizzo

The 21 year old forward is only 5”6”, and has signed on a 2-way with an as yet unnamed NIHL outfit.

He’s a former GB U20 international and has spent time in the North American juniors.

Coventry bring back Canadian left wing Evan Bloodoff.

http://www.coventryblaze.co.uk/news/blo ... e-20210819

The 30 year old played over 250 games in the ECHL before first arriving on these shores in 2017 to play for Fife. He enjoyed two productive seasons in Kirkcaldy before Danny Stewart swooped to sign him for the Blaze in 2019.

His debut season for the Blaze saw him score 27 times and add 16 helpers in 57 games. He didn't ice at all last season.

Manchester have added 34 year old Canadian left-winger Wade MacLeod.

https://www.eliteprospects.com/player/3 ... de-macleod

He is a double brain cancer survivor, and as such hasn’t iced professionally since the 17/18 season.

He does, however, boast an outstanding record in the German DEL2 with Starbulls Rosenheim & Löwen Frankfurt. He scored 117 points in 116 games there.

He’s also played 129 AHL games for the Springfield Falcons & Toronto Marlies.

Also 127 ECHL games for the Evansville Icemen, Orlando Solar Bears, Idaho Steelheads & Allen Americans.

First of a series of posts as regards transfer activity elsewhere.

From Friday:

Glasgiw have signed 22 year old centre Harry Ferguson from MK Lightning

https://clanihc.com/post/signed-ferguso ... education/

The player has iced in the EIHL for Edinburgh and MK, racking up 127 appearances. In his last season, he scored 12 goals and 12 assists for the Lightning in the NIHL. Prior to that he had a short spell at Peterborough Phantoms; also in the NIHL.

Belfast have added Jordan Boucher to their roster

https://www.belfastgiants.com/2021/08/2 ... n-boucher/

Boucher signs from Grizzlys Wolfsburg in the DEL where he tallied 4 goals and 4 assists in 25 games. He has played for Orebro in the SHL for a couple of seasons prior to the move to Germany and 79 AHL games with Binghamton Senators and Laval Rocket to his name.

Dundee and Fife added signings to their rosters on Friday as well.

Fife have re-signed left shot defenceman Jonas Emmerdahl who iced for them in 2018-19.

The Swede played 55 times in all competitions during 18-19 for the Flyers, registering 2 goals and 13 assists. He has extensive experience in the Swedish Allsvenskan with almost 370 games there. He last played in 20-21 with Hockeyettan side Ostersunds.

Dundee added diminutive left wing Charlie Combs to their roster.

This will be the American's first full season of professional hockey after a short spell at Wichtia Thunder following his University education. He averaged over a point every other game during his NCAA career.

Saturday saw Fife sign Swedish winger Isak Stenlund Ädelgran.

Ädelgran, 24, appeared twice in the SHL and once in the Champions Hockey League for Skellefteå in 2015-16 but last season iced for Tegs SK in the Hockeyettan. There he scored 17 times and had 35 points in 28 league and play-off games.

Sunday...

Coventry signed 26 year old Canadian Ryan Penny, so you could say that the penny dropped for the Blaze that day (sorry for the bad pun). He can play either left wing or centre and arrives from McGill University.

He has played 35 times in the AHL for Binghamton Senators and Binghamton Devils. In addition to this he has 53 goals and a total of 109 points from just 168 ECHL games with Evansville Ice Men and Reading Royals. So he does look to be pretty useful.
