I would be fully in favour of a no jab no entry rule.
Me too, if watching the Steelers and playing and working for them for that matter is so important, then make it a safe as possible and make it a requirement of entry to the arena and inclusion on the team.. let everyone be as safe as possible...

Wonder if they’ll also stop players entering?? Judging by Vallerand Instagram stories he’ll not be having the vaccine.

The Government are now planning digital identities ''as trusted as passports'' - this is on the official Gov website, so not a conspiracy.

It's a slippery slope once you start to endorse and welcome things such as vaccine passports

None of them would enter the country if they had not had their jab/s, if I was in charge! Either way if they can enter the country they should not be able to be part of the team till fully vaccinated with both jabs..

You can't have them mixing with staff, players and obviously fans after games if there is even the slightest possibility they can catch Covid 19 because they wouldn't have the vaccine.

The vaccine is not a 100% guarantee, but it's easily the best and easiest way to protect as many people as possible... and any player refusing to conform would not be given the opportunity to be here, whoever they are...

I agree it’s a sensible idea, but how would they enforce it? Having to check 6000 people on a game night, not to mention the away fans. It could be a logistical nightmare.

I agree with you Keith, the arena staff have not exactly a great track record on the doors so far, I have not seen yet how it works or how the prepossed system for night clubs etc works..
On the other hand it's well within the clubs means to make sure staff and players are vaccinated isn't it..?

So we are now seeing some people who have had both jabs and are still catching covid and sadly some people are still dying from it, so how do you stop someone who is a carrier from entering the arena.
Is there a test which can be carried out instantly to allow entry?
In view of what I have just said I think it will be some time before I contemplate entering any such area of mass public unless it is in the open air,
I do feel you will be lucky to receive 6000 fans as there is still a lot of people out there who still feel very anxious about such a situation

I think a major issue in all this is now, is that we are increasingly seeing a silent war between commerce and economic factors and the health and safety and the need to preserve life.
Clearly the club (all sports clubs and foot fall led business) have their bottom line and or profits to consider and to that end they would rather get bums on seats and pay only the slightest regard for why they shouldn't... and the fans and or public have to grapple between their desire to go and watch their chosen sport or activity and the very real need to be safe!
take the upcoming shirt launch and Fans forum! if the club was putting the overall safety of those attending at the forefront of their decision, they in no way would be holding those events in a venue that (at best of times) packs them in like sardines and demand clearly outstrips space... remember when we had similar events held outside (Abbeydale Sports Club comes to mind)

Don valley bowl could be used, make an afternoon of it and make it as safe as you can...

All I am saying is, that with the will and maybe a bit more effort, more up coming Steelers Events could in all honesty be made a great deal safer to attend if the will to do it was in place...

So would it not be a good reason now for the club to screen games for you to enjoy and keep up to date what is happening via Steelers tv?
This would keep peoples interest with the club until such time as they feel happy to attend in person, at least the club would be getting further revenue

The people who are scared to go to watch the games can stream it can’t they? Covids here to stay unfortunately. You can still catch and pass it on after your jabs. I’ve had it twice already. 🥴
