Cardiff have moved to replace Ben Bowns with American netminder Macmillan Carruth.

The 29 year old stands 6”2” and joins from Lausitzer Füchse of the German DEL2.

A 7th Rd pick of the Chicago Blackhawks, Carruth has iced 55 times in the AHL for the Rockford IceHogs with a SV% of just under 90%.

He’s played 96 ECHL games for the Toledo Walleye, Florida Everblades & Indy Fuel with a 90% SV%.

In Europe he played for Hungarian EBEL side Fehérvár AV19 for two years leaving with a 91.4% SV%.

In the DEL2 his two years with Lausitzer Füchse ended with 91.6% saves.

Cardiff have signed diminutive 5”8” forward Trevor Cox.

The Canadian, 25, joins from HC Detva of the Slovakian Extraliga where he scored 37 points in 52 games with 39 PIMs.

He’s previously iced 7 ECHL games for the Quad City Mallards.

He’s played 38 games of pro hockey in the ECHL with the Colorado Eagles & Florida Everblades.

Manchester have re-signed high-end EIHL netminder Matt Ginn after a season away in the ECHL.

The 30 year old Canadian played 124 times for the Storm in 18/19 & 19/20 achieving an overall 92% Saves.

He’s iced in the ECHL for the Florida Everblades, Atlanta Gladiators, Greenville Swamp Rabbits & Kansas City Mavericks.

Also 1 AHL game for the Providence Bruins.

Manchester also added 25 yr old Centreman Adam Brady.

Previously he iced 3 years in the American NCAA University system with the Bemidji State University Bears.

Guildford add highly experienced English winger Robert Lachowicz.

The 31yr old Nottingham-born forward joins from the Nottingham Panthers where he spent 14 years amassing 763 EIHL games.

He’s won the recent Elite Series, as well as a League Title, 7 Challenge Cups & 4 Playoff Titles & the Continental Cup.

He has also played Champions League.

Internationally he’s played 66 times for GB.

Glasgow finally have their new Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations in place in the form of highly experienced 51yr old Canadian Malcolm Cameron.

Cameron joins from Romanian Erste Liga side Gyergyói HK where he had former Steelers Mark Matheson, Andreas Valdix & the late Marek Trončinský.

He has massive ECHL (& equivalent pre modern ECHL era) as Head Coach of the Cincinnati Cyclones, Columbus Stars, Corpus Christie Rayz, Long Beach Ice Dogs, Texas Wildcatters, Florida Everblades, Elmira Jackals & Wichita Thunder.

He’s also coached Canadian major junior WHL side Regina Pats.

Finally he’s spent a short time in Italy with SV Kaltern.

Belfast Giants legend Stephen Murphy has announced his retirement aged 39.

The Scottish netminder started his career in the BNL with the Paisley Pirates before also icing BNL with the Dundee Stars, Fife Flyers & Bracknell Bees.

He moved on to Europe in the Swedish Allsvenskan for 2 seasons with IF Björkloven & IFK Arboga.

He joined the EIHL for the first time in 2006 with Edinburgh before moving abroad again, this time to Stjernen of Norway.

After a year with the Manchester Phoenix, he then iced 11 seasons in Belfast before rounding out his career with a single appearance for the Manchester Storm in the Elite Series.

He iced 597 EIHL games winning 3 League Titles, 2 Challenge Cups & a Playoff Title.

He also played 39 times for GB.
