Scottish utility man Mark Garside has re-signed in Belfast after a spell in Nottingham.

The 32 year old, who is 5”10 has been deployed on the wing, D and centre in recent years.

He’s hugely experienced in the EIHL with 803 games in the competition for the Edinburgh Capitals, Belfast Giants & Nottingham Panthers.

He’s also played in the Champions League and Continental Cup at club level.

At international level he has iced 42 times for GB including 2 appearances in the recent top division tournament.

Belfast announce the return of GB International forward Ben Lake from Manchester.

The 31 year old is an import under EIHL rules and has played 17 times for GB.

In the EIHL he’s played 200 games for the Coventry Blaze, Belfast Giants & Manchester Storm.

He’s also played 136 times in the ECHL for the Alaska Aces.

He’s also appeared in the NIHL for the Sheffield Steeldogs.

Belfast have also moved to add 5”11 American utility player Jeff Baum.

The 25 year old will play his first pro hockey in Belfast after icing in the NCAA’s Friendship Four tournament there a few years back.

Baum joins from the American NCAA University League where he’s iced 4 years. One year for the Providence College Friars & Three years with the American International College Yellow Jackets.

Cardiff announce the return of veteran English defenceman Mark Richardson for a 14th season after time away from the Welsh side with German DEL2 side EC Bad Nauheim

The 34 year old has a huge 907 games of EIHL experience with the likes of the Cardiff Devils, Nottingham Panthers & Basingstoke Bison.

He’s won 5 Challenge Cups, 2 Playoffs & 2 EIHL Titles.

He’s also played in Kazakhstan for Arlan Kokshetau & has iced Champions League & Continental Cup.

At international level he’s played 94 times for GB.

The 30 year old returns after time in Manchester.

The Englishman came through the ranks in Chelmsford before 3 years in the North American junior system.

He’s gone on to play 586 games in EIHL competition with Cardiff & Manchester winning 2 EIHL titles.

He has Champions League experience and has also played 16 times for GB internationally.

Cardiff announce the return of 30 year old Welsh centreman Ben Davies after 7 years away from the club.

The 5”8” forward has a strong work ethic and is regularly deployed on PK units.

He joins from the Manchester Storm where he played Elite Series hockey.

Davies is highly experienced at EIHL level having iced 727 times for the Cardiff Devils, Braehead Clan, Coventry Blaze, Guildford Flames & Manchester Storm.

He’s also iced 5 games in the ECHL with the Norfolk Admirals as well as a summer campaign with the Melbourne Mustangs of the Australian AIHL.

He’s played in the Champions League with Braehead as well as playing 34 games for GB including the promotion tournament as well as the two top flight campaigns.

Dundee have added 5”10 defenceman Brett Orr after a year out of the game due to the pandemic.

Orr had been due to ice 20/21 for the Stars.

The 25 year old Canadian was previously captain of the American NCAA University League’s Bentley University Falcons where he spent four seasons.

This will be his first pro hockey.

Nottingham have moved to add 5”11 defenceman Jean-Claude Brassard.

The 25 year old Canadian joins from the ECHL’s Tulsa Oilers.

Brassard has iced 133 ECHL games for the South Carolina Stingrays, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Utah Grizzlies & Tulsa Oilers.

Cardiff have announced the addition of 6”0” centreman Josh Lammon.

Overall Lammon has iced 137 times in the ECHL for the Florida Everblades & Allen Americans scoring 72 points and a +35 rating.

Cardiff have signed rugged 6”2” 208lb winger Brandon McNally.

The tough 29yr old American joins from Swedish HockeyEttan (3rd Division) side Karlskrona HK.

McNally has iced 63 times in the AHL for the Hamilton Bulldogs, St John’s Ice Caps, San Diego Gulls & Chicago Wolves.

He’s also played 149 ECHL games for the Brampton Beast, Utah Grizzlies & Cincinnati Cyclones, accruing 445 PIMs.

In Europe he’s iced 72 times in the AlpsHL for Italian sides Wipptal Broncos, Asiago & HC Pustertal Wölfe, again hitting high PIMs (186)

Also in the Danish Metal Ligaen for Odense Bulldogs (81 PIMs in 29 games)

& in the Swedish HockeyEttan with Karlskrona HK he got 35 PIMs in just 8 games.
