I've not got the stats for Collins, but I'm sure I recall it being mentioned that he was top 5 in ICEHL for faceoffs, so he should be very good (hopefully 55% or better).

I don't think Fox will go for a player like this, but I think we're now crying out for a Mathieu Roy or Joey Talbot type player.
We've got plenty of creative players, but we'll need somebody willing to get into the dirty areas so that the skilled guys can find them with a pass, otherwise I see everything being played on the perimeter.

Both/either of those players would be superb signings right now, I wish we had that Legue, Talbot Tessier line. They oozed class.

On paper I think Perrault looks the better player and more of a goal scorer, but Perrault would have created a headache in terms of the team make up.
If Gettinger is a natural centre who can win faceoffs, then that would be a better fit.
I do think we look light on goals this season, with only Balmas being what I'd call a natural goal scorer, but hopefully some of the others score more than my expectation.
Gettinger is a big chap, but doesn't take many PIMs, so i assume he isn't particularly physical.
+/- on his DEL team last season was middle of the road, which is fine considering the higher standard of that league.
I will be interested to know where Fox sees him fitting in (ie. LW or C) and what he's like at faceoffs.

Maybe akin to Mark Simpson? Looks like a great addition.
Hopefully at 6’6 he will be able to create some space for others too, certainly will help the PP to have such a big body sat in front of the crease.
