I'd forgotten this was on.
2 losses for GB so far.
It's still a tremendous achievement playing in Pool A once again.

My first point to make is £30 for ALL games during the tournament? what a deal!
GB have looked very capable and willing in the first two games, just a bit of luck around the goal and it could have been closer in both games.
Like they way they are playing with speed and skill when moving the puck! I think all the players are a real credit to their teams and leagues, my only negative has been Logan Neilson? Who ever thinks he's a 2nd line player or top line on the PP I will never know? or is there a family connection somewhere?
Robson or Bowns? Bowns for me everytime! he just has so much experiance and movement across his crease and these are skills you need to make consistent saves at this level.
Young Steele looks a very good player! as do a number of others!

I’ve been impressed with Steele and this can only benefit him going forward.
€30 is very good value. The stream is great, but the commentary is a bit weak. They only speak when the game is in play and some of their notes are out of date.
I agree we could’ve had a bit more luck. We held USA for half the game but our heads dropped a bit when they took a 2 goal lead, then another in short time killed it.
I was a bit disappointed we didn’t fight harder against the Austrians, they were one of our chances.
Judging by bits of the Austria- Hungary game I watched I think Hungary will be a tough opponent tomorrow, so if we don’t bring our A game and get a win there I think we’re looking at relegation again.

As said in other posts, €30 is a steal for all those games, great camera angles and the mic’d refs have been great to listen to. I’ve also been impressed with Steele, he’s a big lad and doesn’t mind clearing players from in front of our crease. His physique reminds me of a young Dion Darling. I hope he develops into a DD clone over the next season or so.

It’s a great shame.
By the way I wasn’t doubting their ability, if they play a full 60 the way they played the first 30 against USA they have every chance.
I’ll be watching tonight and the rest of the week no matter what, proud to see them playing for GB.

Very disappointing performance against a Hungary side we should have been able to at least hold our own with not lose by 5. The first 3 went against Bowns who was pulled and hadn’t looked sharp. Kirk gave the puck away ridiculously on a pp so they scored a SHG. Hungary shooting was lethal and too good for either of our netminders. Ours was ordinary in spite of outshooting them. Sadly demotion looks inevitable.

If it’s any consolation Italy are struggling just as much.
We gained promotion last year but to me the team is weaker than it was then. I know it’s inevitable some players will retire all together or step down a level and thus drop out of international competition and we’ll have to bring new players in but when you’ve just been promoted is a difficult time to do this.
I’ll take it there was some planning and preparation for this but it’s fallen short. The 4 games against Italy for example seem to have given neither team any assistance.
Time for a coaching change maybe? Could we do some sort of deal with a Scandi team for assistance with player development? Something needs to change if we’re to stop the yo-yo.
