Loving that lots of action happens quickly and pleased about Dowd as he is already a favourite with me and my granddaughter. Need another favourite confirmed now - Mitchell Balmas. Any news?

If Brandon stays fit, can play top 9, can play PK and PP. I dont know what's not to like. His main issues are fitness/injury issues and a lack of physicality. Not many Brit forwards i would swap him for bar above issues.

With Whistle coming back an IBN, Liam Steele and Dowd confirmed, possibly Kelly its not looking good for Cole Shudra to retain a place.
We are filling up with Brits and I've seen Cade Neilson mentioned as well and maybe Kyle Watson would be on a two way again.
I don't think there is a place for Shudra.

A busy day yesterday, with plenty of signing news.
Overall I'm quite happy with recruitment to date.
The big positive for me is that our Brits are sorted and overall I think they're an upgrade on last season. Fox knows Whistle and will be confident to move him up the lines if necessary. With IBN and Steele we're signing potential, but if both continue to improve, as we all hope, then they should have good seasons. Both are also big bodies.
As for Dowd, I don't really have much to say, his numbers speak for themselves.
Greenfield, Cormier and Jasper were already signed, so I wouldn't class them as signing news.
I don't think either Greenfield or Cormier had their best seasons, but we all know what they're capable of.
Jasper's age worries me. His best days are clearly behind him and whilst he did reasonable last season, can we expect better next season? Maybe he'll be decent on 3rd/4th line.
We definitely need a couple of quality centres for next season.
Regards
