After dominating the first period I thought we might pay for those missed chances later on. So it proved. We lost all cohesion and technical ability in the second.
Panthers started winning the 50/50 pucks and intercepted our passes.
Their second goal was an object lesson in the flair we don't have. The panthers player fooled everyone by looking to pass to the right wing and then turning his stick to shoot to Macadams left . Our defence fell for it hook line and sinker.
After that it was like watching a big lumbering giant trying to catch pigeons. We are predictable and too offensive in nature but we are not aggressive with it.
Other teams have worked us out. We beat this Panthers team 4-1 just a few weeks ago. They are progressing, we seem to be going in the opposite direction. I hope Foxy doesn't say he liked our compete level.

A result which was no suprise,,, consistent with rest of season able to beat bottom half of league teams but not top half teams, so this ties in with league standings,,,, this year a very average team and thats it,,,,
An average team with one of the top player recruitment budgets in the league. Being bang average is not acceptable under those circumstances.
