Good result to bounce back with. Really happy to read Watling netting.

How was Ritchie on the arena ice?

Many thanks for the updates on here guys.

I thought there were fewer mistakes and better team cohesion. Nothing Greener could do about either of Manchester’s goals.

Ritchie wasn’t outstanding but I thought he played well and if the team settles and regains some confidence he should be a good addition. You can tell he’s played at a high level.

Tomorrow will be a tougher test, but if we play like today we stand a better chance. Fingers crossed.

I thought that was a good performance with the lines looking more balanced.

The scoreline probably flattered Manchester.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the Juusola/Watling/Tait line develops.

Faceoffs weren't an issue.

More of the same tomorrow please

To return to a previous topic, the warm up sound levels were a total disgrace tonight. I can only assume this was done deliberately. I recorded an average dba of 86, and a Maximum of 100. For those unfamiliar with the dba scale it is logarithmic to the base ten. That means that an increase of 10 db is a doubling of the sound levels. Anything over 80 is considered dangerous and likely to cause long term damage to the hearing system.
I worked in situations where the government was found guilty and needed to compensate residents who received this level of sound. For 10% of time from an adjacent motorway. An average of nearly 90 is a deliberate attack on the paying supporters tonight. There were many people around complaining about it. To hold a conversation you had to speak right into someone’s ear.

Come on Steelers. This is not good enough.
