GAME THREAD: Steelers v Devils: Sun 25th Jan
Moderator: Mods
Over 17,000 tickets have been purchased for this weekend game’s according to the Steelers website.
2 x loses and the boo’s will almost out blast the PA system. In fact if we lose to Manchester the night before, there could be some animosity before this one.
2 x wins and it’s some renewed confidence and hopefully a happier fan base and team!
1 x win and 1 x loss and we’re just treading water with only 2 wins in 7 games.
Cardiff of course are coached by the greatest coach in the world……will they finish above us and win more silverware?
3-2 Steelers O/T.

Again! I just can't see us out performing either team this weekend! tight game on both night but loose against the Storm and it will be dire watching on Sunday!!! I really hope we turn on the style and out play both opposition but I just can't see it! for me a split weekend close 4 3 sat and defeat Sunday! Its a two horse race for the title with Belfast favourites.

More of the same please.
Hopefully we can build a bit of confidence going into our Challenge Cup semi.
I always liked the idea of a Juusola/Watling/Tait line, because when we were at our best in the Grandslam season we had the Juusola/Watling/Neumann line which was very effective. I see Tait as the closest like for like replacement to Neumann in our current squad.
Obviously Juus and Watling are both a bit older and maybe less effective, but I was hoping to see how that line would work. I thought they did ok last night and showed promise.

As a Giants fan hoping for a Steelers win, will help open up the gap between ourselves and Devils. We play away in Manchester today at 5.30 so will know the result of this game before our game finishes.
