I'm assuming 2 way back up likely to be Warburton
Saw a picture of Greenfield and Warburton and some other outfield players, both were wearing their Steelers pads.

Yeah, looks like Warburton has been out with Greenfield doing summer skates. Cole Ully and Jamal Watson at the same skate.

That’s because his mouth is always in gear before his limited brain

I see Golod has signed in Hungary.

Seems a bit of an odd one, because I'm sure we would have been interested.

Does the Hungarian league pay well?

Generally speaking, those sort of leagues pay their imports from quite to very well, and pay their local players cheaply since it's an inverse of the EIHL. (Imports are the gold dust you splash the cash on being limited to 6, while local nationals are ten a penny.) Been quite a few former EIHL players/staff going there.

That sounds a bit like the old Heineken League, where the import quality Brits, like Coopers and Hand, would get very good wages, as would the imports because they were so important to success.

I would think we made Golod an offer, but maybe we couldn't match the Hungarians because we're spreading our costs across 17 imports.

A shame really, because I would have liked to see what he could do in a full season. Prior to coming here, nothing jumped out to suggest he'd be a big scorer, but he just clicked in our team/league.

My guess is if any of the big boys are struggling around Christmas, we'll see him move across to our league.

I think he's definitely got the potential to jump back over here if there's injuries etc. He's going to put up silly numbers over there

Signing(s?) to be announced tomorrow according to club socials.

Obviously either Harper or Warburton (or both).

I really think the media team, whomever is/are behind it, is/are deliberately trolling the fans. It doesn't bother me generally but the social media output is miles behind other teams including even Flyers now.
