I would be happy to see him in Guildford, just not Nottingham... Just wouldn't sit right...

IMO it depends on -
1. how much he's offered
2. how much he wants to get back at Fox
3. how much he still hankers after trophies
I'd rather not see him in a Panthers kit but as has often been said his priority is to his family. I suspect Panthers' budget may stretch further than Guildford's. They'll (Panthers) be glad to put a fly in our ointment if they value him still as a player and he might like it too given that he felt a little hard done by.

I agree, I know what I'd do in his skates.steeler pete wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 9:49 amIMO it depends on -

Me too and it wouldn't be the Panthers, but hey that's just me, I would drop a few quid if I had to rather than play for a team I hated, like I said before it doesn't make it wrong for him...
I can 100% see why he would, but in the same breath I know there are many previous players that bought into the rivalry that wouldn't and that goes for teams with rivals all over the league...

Rivalry....with Nottingham? Think that went in 2001. Only fan rivalry really exists now IMO. With the GB setup I’m pretty sure most of the players are best mates.Jayboy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 12:31 pmMe too and it wouldn't be the Panthers, but hey that's just me, I would drop a few quid if I had to rather than play for a team I hated, like I said before it doesn't make it wrong for him...

Simms will have us believe otherwise of course.

I agree about the rivalry, I've already said as much above, I don't think the players buy into it like they used to, many of the fans don't either, trouble is when you have gone through that rivalry as a fan it's hard to just reset.
