New ice plant

The new ice plant is currently being installed to replace the one we have had for 30 years , that's good work on behalf of everyone involved and a positive commitment to the future of ice hockey at the arena.

I must admit I can't quite get my head around where they have put it, I am happy to be enlightened... But around the back would have made more sense wouldn't it?

Me neither really, just seems a strange place to put it, I take it the old plant has been fully removed, I would have thought that was the obvious place to position it?

Don't even know where it lives usually (stage end?), but huge for the club! Can't be underestimated how big this is.

I've been reading up on the new plant/s and the ice made by the newer plants is said to be considerably better too, in lots of ways, this can only be a good thing.. I presume that may make a difference to future player signings too when they can guarantee the standard of home ice they can use...
