GAME THREAD: Steelers v Flames: SAT

I thought we were always on top, but we never looked like scoring.

No doubt we deserved the two points, but we're making hard work of games.

I dont expect this Steelers team to win any silverware, although I'll be pleasantly surprised if we do.

The playoffs seem to be our best bet, but with 4 fairly similar quality teams and others capable of causing a shock I wouldn't put our chances of winning those at better than 1 in 5.

Now if Golod was to return before the end of the season I think our chances would improve, because he gives us 3 balanced forward lines (subject to injuries).

We are hanging in there after the two wins at the weekend but too many aspects of our game just aren't up to scratch to see us win the league unless the Giants blow up and I dont think we will take the playoffs. I think our (not so) special teams are going to be the ultimate part of our game that sees us miss out.
