Hope I’m ok to start a player suggestions topic as we don’t seem the have one since the update.
What does everyone think for next season with the import allowance dropping to 13, maybe signing Liam Stewart from MK? I know he was linked with us Before.

Think his concussion has ended his career at a decent level, he's also an import in EIHL. Ferrara is the obvious Brit but he'd be costly, can't see him having a grudge because Thommo who binned him is long gone.
Ciaran Long has been awful this year so I'd avoid him. Not many available really. Cownie? All the more important we develop Brown, Shudra, Graham etc.

Think Trončinský has to be #1 import re-signing concern.

I would definitely have Trončinský on my list to retain next season, he's probably been the unsung hero this season alongside Meland.
As regards Brits, finding a good one is hard from another team. Wonder if Mason Alderson-Biddulph fancies making his EIHL bow in orange; he's a star from the Under 20s. Maybe Will Kerlin could put in a good word for us?

I think it would be harsh to judge Long solely on this season, when he seems to be in a much different role than in Manchester. The two seasons prior to this were acceptable and then excellent for a Brit in this league.SteelerBlade wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 6:14 pmThink his concussion has ended his career at a decent level, he's also an import in EIHL., Ferrara is the obvious Brit but he'd be costly, can't see him having a grudge because Thommo who binned him is long gone.

I'd be interested in the production we'd see from him with Dowds linemates, role and looks. Seems a lot more robust too.
Agree on Brown, Shudra and Graham. This first two in particular, in my opinion, are both ready for more minutes and responsibility.
