GAME THREAD: Steelers v Blaze: Sat 11th Jan

On paper this is certainly the much tougher of the two games this weekend.
Coventry are a young team with some really good pickups by the coach.
As things currently stand we don't have any of the top 10 goal scorers, but Coventry have two with Seitz 3rd and Luciani 6th.
They're also currently better than us on powerplays and penalty kills, so let's hope there's plenty of 5 on 5.
If we continue our recent improvement then I'd expect a fairly routine victory, but if we play like a few weeks ago we'll lose this.
Greenfield has looked back to his best in recent weeks and that has been huge for us. We really need him to stay fit, otherwise I fear our title challenge will rapidly fade.

If Greenfield goes down again, its season over for us imo Doom.Doom wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 8:43 pmOn paper this is certainly the much tougher of the two games this weekend.

Veeti Vainio would make most sense to me, don't break the other D pairings up.. And isn't he supposed to be an offence minded defender anyway.?
It is a while since we saw him

A slow start from us. Very average period.
Our shirt numbers are impossible to see watching the stream.
Thought Brandon Whistle was playing with Nordström wearing his shirt number! Can’t we afford a shirt for him?
