Without Greenfield , as we have been, that would be a much closer game. He is exceptional. Golod is a godsend , not going to make the pun but you know. Simpson was everywhere and Diffley did well as it is likely he was carrying an injury. Great result after such a punishing schedule of games and travel. Glad the snow held off !

Big performance given schedule and injuries. Definitely looked a little fatigued at times but Greenfield is definitely back to his best and made timely big saves.
Golod - can't really add much more to what's already been said, but seriously, he must be on the re-sign list for next year.
Thought Leavens was excellent and thoroughly deserved his goal. He's starting to show his early season form, and having more and more influence on games.

I know for a fact that Leavens has been carrying an injury since the CHL.ginger wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 11:05 amBig performance given schedule and injuries. Definitely looked a little fatigued at times but Greenfield is definitely back to his best and made timely big saves.

He'll be up there at the end of the season for goals scored.

I did wonder if that was the case. I feel there's probably 2 or 3 more who've been playing through things for a while (Tansey being one).BontSteeler wrote: ↑Mon Jan 06, 2025 6:03 pmI know for a fact that Leavens has been carrying an injury since the CHL.ginger wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2025 11:05 amBig performance given schedule and injuries. Injuries certainly playing a big part this season. Cardiff obviously hit at the moment but I wonder if it's a case of just the players out who are injured and the rest are healthy, if overworked at the moment. I get the feeling we've had players out and another handful who under normal circumstances would also have been out but have played through.
