I sound like I am on a downer on keepers, but this kid in nets isn't cutting it... As much as it pains me, we're in the deep end of a certain creek if we don't get Greenfield fit very soon, I honestly would play Warbarton or Crowe, I just don't see the reasoning...

He's made a couple of top drawer saves in the 2nd period but at fault for their 2nd goal.
Can't understand why we've brought in a guy so rusty and inexperienced.
Surely there was a top drawer keeper available if we were prepared to spend the money...

Panthers BTW are not world beaters all of a sudden they are not playing all that well, apart from their new net minder that is, but we're awful. We can't play a simple pass without it being 6-12 inch out almost every time. And don't get me started the state of our face offs and power play (we did score on a PP) every player is trying but in many respects they are trying to be to fancy and fail many times on the basic stuff..

There’s also lack of confidence. We’re not shooting enough and taking far too much time to set anything up.
I also think we’re not back checking like we did last season. 1 or 2 forwards need to up their D responsibilities.

We've all said time & time again, if Greenfield goes down we're in deep dodo.
It's happened & by all accounts De Fillipo wasn't cutting it but in defence slightly it sounds like he's been playing hurt.
I'm not by any stretch an expert on stats but just looking at this new kid, I was worried and that was further compounded when a very well respected poster in Doom said the same thing.
To top it off, as much as I've loved seeing our boys do superbly in the CHL, it's always at the detriment of the the league etc, you only have to look at the history, whomever plays in the CHL, they struggle afterwards.
But on a whole, it doesn't help when your No1 netminder goes down.
