The biggest game we've ever played in ?, yes I believe it is, the return of the best player we've ever developed ?, also yes, and the biggest question of all, can we win ?. YES.

They lost to Vaxjo and heavily to Fribourg. They beat Pardubice in the shootout.

If we get decent reinforcements in time given Saucerman is a loss, games this weekend may take a further toll and if we can put out a strong squad I see no reason why we should fear them.

A healthy win on Wed would help. Fingers crossed

Not any information yet on the nature of his injury or how long he could be missing for.

Is this the biggest game in our history? From me, 100% it is.

Yes, the league is our bread and butter and pays the bills etc, but I’d swap a league title for a CHL final appearance.

I think we’ve got a great chance against Berlin I really do. Get the arena rocking and maybe take a goal or so lead into the 2nd leg and I firmly believe we have a great chance of making the quarter finals stage.

For those that think this competition is an inconvenience or we’ve no chance of winning it etc what would you say to the likes of Fife and Dundee who play in the EIHL every year? They’re not going to win the league or any of the cups, but they enter every year.

I want the Sheffield Steelers to be a bigger name outside of our little pond to hopefully attract better players to make our domestic chances even better. The CHL provides us with that opportunity.

3-2 Steelers. Come on lads! I’m sat in 217! Not sat in the 2nd tier for about 20 years! Might get a nose bleed :D

We’re even number 1 in the top 5 moments of the CHL regular season!

Obviously fantastic for us. Just a slight need to be real, CHL quote the top 5 moments In no particular order. Even so really proud of our team.

Fair point I guess I was making an assumption that 2 players coming in at this point in time was at least in part to cover our injuries.

What a massive shame that this isn't being picked up by a television station,.

Berlin not played since 3/11, will that be detrimental to them, let's hope so.

Think we'll do this, if Greenfield carrys on how he's been in a competition's then Berlin will have a tough night being him

I'll go :

Steelers 4-2 Berlin

A nice match preview by the CHL.

Loved the CHL ice, it looked massive on the Belfast stream!

Agreed. I’ve really found the advertising this year has gone too far. It is distracting and I occasionally lose sight of the puck. I suppose it’s all money but I wish we could find a better way of doing it.
