That’s a lot better than my morning version of the star that says a meeting is being convened to decide what work needs to be done!

Looking at Google Maps it's still closed and suggests it will be closed until 8th.

As for the game, Zech will be a big loss for them. He's a proper top end defenceman who had the best +/- on his AHL team 2 or 3 years ago.

Always good to see 9,000 in the arena. Win this and we're I'm pole position in our group.

Have door opening times changed? Last 2 games doors have opened an hour before face off instead of the usual hour and half! I would have thought with the road works etc this would make a huge difference to getting everyone in and seated..

I thought the original decision to extend the opening time was done on the grounds of health and safety concerns! what, I wonder was the overriding factor for concern for the fans safety?

Fair enough the club telling people to arrive early, well the doors open 30 mins later than last season!

Good job we don’t start until 15 mins after the scheduled start with our long intro.

Not sure why Cole took exception to that hit, putting us in trouble. Then somehow the refs saw Simpson cross check at 20 mins no one else saw??

Panthers are playing well but I’d say we were even in all but score.

A poor first period from us.

Shudra did not need retaliate on a fair hit.

Not sure what the face off count was, but we didn’t appear to win many.

Lots of improvement needed.

May as well send Marco home if we’re not going to play our backup import goalie.
