I'm expecting the quality of imports to drop off hugely this coming year as teams look to cut costs to cover losses this season.

Pound looking weak against the Dollar which will mean the EIHL budgets won't go as far in North America.

Expect a lot more younger USports/NCAA/Major Junior players who are cheaper and offer decent value. Also expect more European guys, particularly Czech, Slovak etc.

I've seen the rumours and the article too, and I will be honest, I cant imagine why the Clan would even consider Paul Thompson.
