Guess we could just have one mega-thread for rumours rather than seasonal threads.
Hearing Eric Meland is leaving the club, makes sense after his MOTM award and guard of honour at the end of the game.

Terrible timing, I really rated him. He will be hugely missed!
Need some good injury news ASAP.
Unsure why we didn't announce it at the game for a lap of honour.

There as been strong rumour since that big article he did recently, that he wanted to be back playing in the higher leagues and that any interest showed in him he would find hard to resist..

He’s put a picture up of the American Embassy in London with the title ‘I’m leaving’. Then he comments in the thread ‘I’m not living!!!! I’m finished season’. But since my first post a Russian guy has wrote he’s not leaving he’s visiting USA in off season.

I wouldn't see him as a player to let his team and teammates down mid season anyway, but next season is an entirely different prospect altogether.. Good players always get noticed in our league...

I think I'd be disappointed to see him go, along with a lot of our players....
However, Fox is signed up for 3 years I believe, and after his recruitment this season, I'd be confident that he could find equally good players were any of our current bunch not to sign up for next year.

Think the Lemtyugov thing is a non story. Seems he's off on a golfing holiday in the summer but needs a visa (as we would also) at the US embassy in London. Appointments are hard to come by so booking early should cover him especially with US-Russian relations.
Could see him leaving in the summer though, possibly even retirement.

Heard today that we are signing Matt Ginn from the Storm as our starting netminder for next season.
Ginn has recently followed the estate agent on social media, so maybe some substance to it. Estate agent sent a tweet saying "Welcome to my family" and then name checked MG using the goalie's Twitter handle.
