It also appears you can watch on the CHL website, but UK is region blocked.

I imagine if you have a VPN you might be able to get round that, but prices certainly not terrible for the CHL streams.
Like the one built in to the Opera browser....
Indeed. Having had a look at where Every Play have CHL rights, I've determined that Austria, Sweden and Finland all look lovely places to reside in whilst the CHL is on.....

One thing I will say is though, Every Play also offer streaming packages in UK for Liiga and Sweden (SHL and Allsvenskan). Totals up to about £100 quid for the full year if you took both. Not bad value at all if you've got the time to watch that much hockey!

In the order of £50 per head per away game compared with £16/ head if we all had our own webcast but accept it’s not like for like but significant difference in cost

So not actually a valid comparison seeing as how the subject is actually the price of the CHL streaming , the only comparison is between CHL and EIHL prices.

Presumably CHL streaming fees go to IIHF. As an administrative organisation with a non commercial income stream they will see this as a contribution to their promotion costs rather than income. Alternatively all EIHL teams as private businesses will see this most definitely as an income stream. This would explain the difference between the cost of the service and the value of the service

Booked for today. Fairly seamless so far. The only potential hitch is that they say times are localised but my stream page says 18:45 start. I assume BST would be 17:45 for a six pm face off.
