Tansey back for two more seasons....woohoo 🥳🥳🥳

My hope was that we'd be able to hang on to the majority of our players by good use of our Uni agreements.

Hopefully this is the first of a few.

Thank you Sheffield Hallam.

Regards

Now that was some great news to wake up to.
That's how it should be done Steeters, none of the build up for days just straight in and boom sends a marker out to all the other teams

Arguably the best Dman in the league this year, and obviously a huge personality and leader. Fantastic work to get him for 2 more years. 1 down, 5 to go on the D. I really want all 6 of our D to re-sign, so fingers crossed!

Great start to recruitment, and hopefully it signals that Sauce and Ciampini are back as well.

One of my top three re-signings I would love to see. Greenfield and Balmas being the other two.

You can see just in between the period breaks how much Tansey loves it here, with his comedy high five’s to each and every player.

An excellent player who I’m delighted to see back. A leader on and off the ice, plus when Fox isn’t looking :Smiled: brings the physical side of the game and will stick up for his teammates.

We can’t be faffing around this year with getting the squad signed up as our season starts earlier with the CHL participation.

Over the moon with this re-signing, far and away the best all round defenceman in the league last year IMO.
Nevalainen, Saucerman, Diffley and Jones next please Aron :thumb: Not included Cormier as it's pretty obvious from his social media posts that he's already back next year :Smiled:

Welcome home Tansey, a quality D man and an even better person from what I hear.

Be interesting who else we've managed to persuade to come back....

A question for those who know more than me.....how many university spots can we offer on our roster? Is it 2 or 3?

With his Twitter comments it looks like Niklas Nevalainen is moving on.
