Nothing to fear from either Belfast or Cardiff after watching their 1st period semi-final game.

Both us and Guildford better than both sides so far.
Quite agreed. Not creating many good chances at either end.

Pleased the game went to overtime. Hope Belfast are shattered! :D

I would have picked Belfast if asked, so am looking forward the final. Play to our best and Belfast have very little chance.

Our game the pick of the two semi-final games for sure.

Be good to score early and make them come out a little. They had a defensive game on show tonight and we tend to struggle against that.

Fully expect a tight game with Belfast clogging the neutral zone and trying to stop the long cross ice passes we love to execute.

Definitely agree an early goal will put us in really good shape

By wining the Playoffs haven't we now beaten the old Murrayfield Racers(???) record?

Seem to remember the last time we won it we'd equaled their record.

I could have of course completely made the above up :D

To be fair to Belfast, I thought there energy levels were superb last night.

Yeah, you could see we were almost dead on our feet. I think we would have lost if the game went into overtime.

We did an awesome job keeping Belfast's chances limited though and loved seeing a Greenfield assist on the EN goal......brilliant!

We were looking at this yesterday.

I believe Sheffield and Murrayfield were tied with 10 titles each, so we now go ahead with 11.

I believe it also puts us level with the Panthers for trophies in the EIHL era (14), although the majority of the Panthers trophies are the Challenge Cup.

Regards

A little bit of the "football mentality" creeping in @Jayboy

The UGLY was represented in suggestions that Steelers' wives were abused in the stands at Nottingham Arena. That is totally unacceptable.

There were also obscene gestures spotted at the rink - something you don't expect to see in a family sport.

And one Sheffielder said "a very small contingent" of Steelers followers "got in the face" of a friend of hers, who is a Giants' fan.

Another Orange Army member registered: "That's so terrible, it's getting worse, like football mentality."
