You have to feel for Nottingham and respect the fact they played on when it would have been easier to pack up their bags in October, but I'm pleased we don't have to face them in the QF.
I hope some of their players stick around and turn up to the playoff weekend, because I'm sure they'd get a very well deserved round of applause.

It should be fun tonight watching the scores coming in from the other games.
I can't really see a surprise in either the Belfast or Cardiff games.
The Manchester v Guildford game is too close to call. If we finish the job against Fife, it's likely we'll end up with the winner from this game.

That sounds like an error on the website. According to the competition rules:greeny wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 11:27 pmAccording to eihl website when we get past fife we will play cardiff/dundeeDoom wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 10:08 amIt should be fun tonight watching the scores coming in from the other games.

c. Seedings for the semi-final and final will be determined by the original quarter-final ranking, so the highest-placed team left in the playoffs will be ranked as the highest seed.
i. The highest seed will play the lowest seed in the first semi-final, with the remaining seeds playing in the second semi-final.
ii. The highest seeded team in each game will have the home advantage.
So as number 1 seed, we'd play the lowest ranked seed remaining. If Belfast and Cardiff get through, that would be the winner of the Manchester/Guildford game.
