So Aaron Fox says he'll be back on the phones on Monday to start our 2020/21 recruitment process.

What sort of players would everyone like to see? I'm sure there's people better on Elite Prospects than me

Personally if we can get the core of the squad back I don’t think we will go far wrong next season, more tweaks than wholesale changes if that’s possible, for example I know this was done to death at the start of the season but if we had this same roster but with Desbiens and Fitzy added to it in place of say Liwing and Kohleheimen (sp) I think we could have seen off a grand slam this season quite comfortably compared to how we were at the point of the season when it was suspended

In terms of goaltending it's a tough one. Does Fox go with his favoured 2 import method with the new restrictions on how many imports you can have in a season?

In terms of D, I'd like to see us bin Bettauer and luckily Fox doesn't rate him as can be evidenced by his healthy scratches. I'd like to keep Trončinský, Hrabal & O'Connor if possible. D. Phillips already under contract. Want more size and toughness here. I guess O'Connor & Trončinský could be our PP D so 2 stay at homes would supplement them.

And we all know fox rates Kuukka.

Up front our scoring was outstanding. I'd 100% keep DeLuca, Vallerand, Connolly & Eberle. Davies & Armstrong as an outside maybe due to inconsistency, but I'd be happy enough if they signed up. Obviously all the Brits too. We again need more size and bite here, those players are naturally better defensivley which would help us.

That's my 10 pence worth. All those players I watched before.

- Strong goaltending
- Bigger tougher D
- Bigger tougher forward group to supplement our small speedy pointscorers.

I think a top face off guy is imperative, other than that I can't see much in the way of improvement, with Bettauer being the odd man out (not entirety his fault) 'a stay at home D man' would be an improvement too! No place for Liwing!
I doubt if all will return but a good core I'm sure will.

I love Duba, but I'm guessing we would want a goalie in a Besko mould and someone who is used to playing 55+ games.

We need centers and ones who are strong in the circle - this is something we've struggled with unless Armstrong takes them.

Defensive wise I would want Kuukka, Tron, Hrabel or similar physical along the boards guy, Benny, Davey and another right shot d-man - not sure Fox rates Bettauer that high to have him playing all season.

Generally wouldn't want that many changes look at Cardiff's run of success and they've kept a decent core together - I hope we can do similar under Fox with our Brit pack plus the likes of Vally, DeLuca, Eberle

Vallerand and DeLuca are live now on Instagram, They got asked if you could sign any player from any team in the Eihl to play alongside you who would it be and both picked Gagnon. So if they think it’s a good option so do I. We need some toughness would anyone else take him?

Wouldn't be interested in Gagnon specifically, but I don't think there's any harm in carrying that kind of player if they can contribute with their gloves on.

He is better than any player we had in that role... Plus he is a decent player when played in the right way.. He is no Colt King or even Fitzgerald in his prime, but he isn't a goon...

I think it was a 'tongue in cheek' comment! there's just no way he is good enough for any of the top 4 teams.
