No doubt the better team won the game, but it shows how much the Panthers have improved to make a game of it.
I did think there was some questionable officiating determined to make a game of it, but we battled past that for the win.

Cracking game, full credit to a sparse Panthers team. They deserve to be mid-table and Michaud is a fantastic disruptor.
Hopefully we don't flag going into probably the most challenging run-in I've ever seen. Our sharpshooters are needed in top form and ideally they'll let some shots go on the rush going forward, as their only drawback is constantly looking for the sure pass to walk it in.

I disagree with playing Greenfield until the title’s in the bag.Doom wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2024 8:20 amThis will be a much more confident Panthers team we are playing, so we'll need to be at our best.
Hopefully Simpson will be back, because he offers us something a bit different on that 3rd unit.
I'd personally stick with Greenfield until the title is more or less in the bag, at which point I'd run with Morrone a lot more.....hopefully we do get that opportunity.

We don’t want to risk burn out for the playoffs. Morrone is more than capable and we risk him losing match fitness if Greenfield plays all the time. If Greenfield gets a knock for a few games it’s important to keep Morrone match fit for me.
Morrone should play in Guildford tomorrow.
