It's been said before I appreciate that but to play a FINAL on a Wednesday night makes the EIHL a laughing stock.

Finals should ALWAYS be at a neutral venue & be played on a weekend.

Let's hope Steelers bring their A game to this one, hoping for a stream so I can watch it.
I completely agree. Unfortunately we’ll get all sorts of justifications and excuses for why it has to be played mid week.

How about someone finds a justification or excuse to play it on a weekend instead?

My opinion is that the EIHL powers that be are worried that if one of the bigger arenas are picked and Nottingham, Steelers or even Belfast aren’t in the final, only one man and his dog will turn up.

They (The EIHL) know that there will be a CC Final, why not just find a venue at the beginning of the year & play it at said venue, every year maybe alternate it? But this just waiting to see which top seed makes the final so they can choose if they play at home all depends on ice availability as we are seeing this season.

Because a neutral venue could be 3/4 empty, let's say it's Belfast, even given our fantastic travelling support there ain't going to be that many midweek , Nottingham a few more perhaps but with one of the finalists being at home you are more likely to get a large attendance, my only issue is that it should have been on a weekend.

I was just having a quick look and reckon there must be around 100 seats still available in Blocks 120/220.

I suspect these were held back for any Guildford stragglers, but I wonder if there are any Steelers supporters who missed out initially who are unaware of this, because to my knowledge it hasn't been announced on the website.

There's still one month to go, so I'd expect them all to be snapped up in the next few weeks.

It's a Final - folk will turn up for a Final especially if the pricing is right.

But it's all about opinions, let's just win the damn thing, this team are too good not to win any trophies this year.

The last of the tickets were sold at the weekend.

If you're after one though I'd keep checking from time to time, because some do go back on resale (I guess it's people who can no longer make it).

It looks like around 100 tickets are available in 219.

I'm guessing this must have been a Guildford block and they were hanging on to see if there were any more takers.

Now the tickets have returned to the arena for sale to Sheffield supports.

Final will be covered on Viaplay for those who are unable to get a ticket or catch the game.

In the game thread I've just posted a link to a pair of resale tickets at the top of block 108. Concession tickets but I assume they can be anything to the new buyer.

Me and my mate accidentally simultaneously bought two sets of tickets, so one set needs to go!
