We were saying the same.

Got to be tough for them and huge credit to them for continuing the season.

The league is a better league with a strong Nottingham team IMO.

I did wonder if the terrible events would galvanize the squad to try and win something in Johnson's memory. Unfortunately purely from the outside looking in it appears to have had the opposite affect.

It's difficult to understand exactly what has gone wrong in Nottingham.

On paper they do have decent players, but are they now holding back from the physical contact or is it just they're going through the motions wanting the season to end?

They did have a few decent results on their return, especially an away win in Cardiff.

Credit to them for coming back and playing, for once I think I'd probably support them at the playoff weekend, as long as it isn't against us of course.

Good to see Belfast drop a point yesterday. I think of the chasing pack they're the only ones capable of putting together the sort of run that would put us under any sort of pressure (unless we completely implode of course).

Regards

Unless they turn things round they may not even get to the Playoff Weekend, as for why they are struggling so much, before the incident they looked at best somewhere between a 2nd and 4th placed team, at one stage they had the second best win % in the league but they have fallen away from that now, we will never know if that would have happened anyway or it's a consequence of what happened, it was bad enough for us so it must have been even worse for them and maybe it's impacted the players and coaches more than we realise, most of their fans are still supportive although one or two are showing a complete lack of empathy and understanding. Normally for me the thought of the Panthers not qualifying for the playoffs in their own rink would be amusing, not this year though, I'd like them to be there and for their fans to turn out in good numbers so they can put their terrible season behind them and start again next time. As much as it's fun to beat the Panthers I'm not comfortable kicking someone when they are down on the floor through no fault of their own.
