The first period I thought we ran circles around them and could have easily been in front by more.

As the game wore on the passes started going astray and the puck control was poorer. All signs of a fatigued team.

They now get a well earned rest and can go again next week.

Tomorrow we can enjoy Cardiff and Belfast taking lumps out of each other

Yes I liked the strategy tonight. Let’s go out and put the game away before we lose our pace. It worked in the end but only just thanks to some obscure refereeing. The league really needs to make referees more transparent. I think everyone was puzzled by some of the decisions tonight. I’’m not saying they were wrong but for the life of us nobody near me could understand many of them. Well done Steelers absolutely fantastic stuff. I believe that in years to come people will talk about this team. They just have it in spades.

Great win given the schedule. Actually thought the refs weren't too bad (although still haven't seen any footage of the Vinnel incident).

Just finding ways to get it done even when short on bodies. Quality stuff.
