The games keep coming thick and fast, this time Manchester come looking for revenge on the eve of New years eve and we are then up to Manchester on the first day of 2024

Easy win - Storm are poor at the arena and have the record to prove it.

Wonder if any of the hand bags will continue into this one from the last game?

6-1 Steelers.

Game On

Really cant see other than a steelers victory unless it is one of those games where the schedule etc catches up on the team and is just one of those games

Not sure if he will be here/cleared to play on time but the Storm have signed a new netminder

On paper it should be a comfortable victory, but the same was true of Belfast a couple of days ago against Glasgow and they managed to blow it despite dominating most of the game.

Bad luck, a hot netminder, poor finishing......loads of potential reasons we could lose this game.

All things being equal we should win, but we'll need to be on our game.

With their loss this week Belfast can only get a maximum of 89 points even if they win their remaining 31 games, which they won't do.

Based on recent seasons I would expect somewhere in the low 80s points to win the league, which means Belfast can't afford more than 3 more slip ups.

We're currently on for 94 points, although I would expect that to drop at some point, hopefully not tonight though.

Which line is most likely to be hot tonight?.....I'll go for Juusola/Watling/Neumann.

Over 7,000 in the barn again tonight....Great effort by all.

Regards

Is it me or is the PA system even louder again tonight?

Everyone who I've spoke to agrees it's beyond comfortable.

Complain to the Arena staff, seriously, they cannot act without it.

Men against boys. Outstanding from us, but the gulf in class is massive. Their goalie would want the first goal back though.

Only thing Storm can do is try and rough it up (can’t fault em). Game is already over from their point of view. Being short benched will work against them though.

Wonder if we can get Laing in later on.
